Craft your own beautiful fan using traditional Japanese paper made with centuries-old techniques. This 60–120 minute hands-on workshop lets you create a one-of-a-kind souvenir to take home.
Advance reservation is required.
Reservations can be made by email only.
For international visitors, we recommend making your reservation in advance of your arrival in Japan.
Choose your favorite pattern of traditional Japanese washi paper and create your own unique fan.
After completing your fan, it takes about 30 minutes to dry.
While you wait, browse the beautiful washi crafts displayed inside Sumaru Manor or or explore the nearby shopping street.
