"Direct sale shop of local produce, Home of Kojurou", located along the outbound line (Sendai direction) of National Road No.4 Bypass is the large direct sale shop where local farmers and others sell local produces and goods.
It is managed by an incorporated NPO who want to create a place where people can gather around to accelerate comminication.
In the large shop, local produce and special products are lined up. There are various items from Shiroishi hot noodles, seasonings such as miso, and processed items such as rice cake and pickles, so you can find souvenirs to side dishes for tonight.
Fresh and tasty local produce raised by producers with a rich environment of Shiroishi are lined up every morning. Popular vegetables are sold out very quickly.
"Sasanishiki from Miyagi Shiroishi" which is popular among housewives and gourmet passers can also be purchased in the home of Kojurou.
Shiroishi Za's brand eggs "Taketori Eggs" are also in store and they are very fresh.
In the direct sale shop, you can get products not only from Shiroishi and Zao but also those in Miyagi prefecture, so you can enjoy delicious items along the coastal area and the north part of Miyagi.
Moreover, you can also find Kokeshi Dolls, the traditional crafts of Shiroishi City, pottery instruments, woodworks and handcrafted goods. You can find good souvenirs and small gifts.
"Kojurou" the name of the shop comes from the Samurai Lord, Katakura Kojurou. There are many items of Kojurou too.
There was Shiroishi hot noodles of Samurai Lord, Date team.
There are also goods of Shiroishi local mascot, "Pochi Warlord Kojurou".
There are many Japanese and Western sweets, cold desserts and dairy products. We would like to recommend the yogurt and cheesecake from "Yamada Dairy".
The desserts made from fresh raw milk at Zao Plateau are simply amazing. The no-bake-cheesecake "Fuwayuki Cheesecake" is addictive and has the fluffy light taste.
With the blueberry sauce, the cake is worth posting on Instagram. Check out the girls who love Kawaii (cute) things!
